Ratdcoops First Attempt

Ratdcoops

Recommended Posts

Decided to join in haven't been very active for a while been busy with kids sport. Recently purchased my first ever decent camera and have been practicing and then processing. I only started taking images of birds to start practicing for upcoming safari but have found it a lot more fulfilling and challenging than I first imagined.

Welcome to the game, @Ratdcoops ! Some great photos here, my best is the New Holland Honey Eater #2. As this will quickly get under your skin, I suggest you to start numebring your birds, and to use a spreadsheet to keep record of those posted.

Your first decent camera is a Nikon?!

Thanks @xelas. As I am only starting out I purchased the Sony RX10 MK3 which is a bridge camera. This covers most bases and is versatile the whole family can use.

Thanks @TonyQ, @Tdgraves, @Kitsafari. I am very much a beginner but I have viewed all of your contributions since finding safaritalk and found inspiration and the urge to begin my own photographic journey.

Appreciated
