Yesterday I went birdwatching at Manguo Pond,Limuru with my local bird guide,Peter and my personal assistant Triza.I saw the Red knobbed Coot,Mountain Buzzard,Yellow Wagtail,Common Waxbill,Pin tailed Whydah,Black headed Heron,African Citril,Black winged Stilt,Great Egret,Blacksmith Lapwing,Common Morhen and the Green Sandpiper.I also saw no less than 4 new birds which were the Black crowned Crane,Rattling Cisticola,House Crow and the Lesser Morhen.

The best part about this place is that you will have it all to yourself.I was particularly enthralled to see the Black Crowned Cranes  because I thought that there was only species of them the Grey Crowned Crane.

I received a warm welcome from the local kids.I still have quite bit of my belly to loose but I am delighted to see and of course feel the progress that I am making.

Next week we will all be going to a rate bird watching hotspot,Naivasha for the day.
