I've started the 2019 Big Year Subforum...

And it can be found here.

Time to wrap up your 2018 topics and sneak in any last twitches you had from last year, and if you get chance, perhaps finish up with a final post tallying up your results.

I do hope it was a bit of fun and has encouraged more of us to bird, whether whilst on safari or not. Certainly some of the images have been inspiring and it not only has it added a new dimension to ST but I'm sure to our own appreciation of the natural world around us. Even if that is only a back yard.

Thanks again for joining in, here's to a Big Year in 2019.

Matt

Thank you @Game Warden - it has been a lot of fun. There are many of us that have got into birding beacause of it and look forward to 2019.

Pleading for 'extra time' due to late return on 31st December. I can only post so many a day.:D

Whist writing I must add my own personal thanks to @Game Warden for bringing this website back from the dead and for all his efforts over the years. I was Offline for most of December when the drama unfolded and only realised on Christmas Day when I had brief signals available.

I lost the opportunity of adding my voice to the many messages of support at that dark time.

Thanks again.
