Spectacular photos, particularly love the raptors section. Crowned Crane is the most iconic African bird for me, so a perfect choice for #100!

I don't have Roberts. Too many books spoil the broth is an old English saying. Or something like that!!

As for the Grey Crowned Crane (Note NO Hyphen. It is a Crowned Crane that is Grey as opposed to its cousin the Black Crowned Crane.

And I can promise you a field full next year. It is Uganda's National bird AND the name of their National Football team.
