Congratulations on the magic 300. I cannot "see" photos on this iffy wiffy so no likes at all.

Time to engage drive again.

Makgadikgadi Pans was probably the best area I visited for birding. For every one I managed to capture I missed 3. It was just too cumbersome stopping the car, getting my camera off my lap and pointed out of the window. The birds did not have patience for me.

 

However, the landscape, especially the clouds, were terrific

 

and I did managed to get a much better pic of the Jacobin Cuckoo than I managed in India (post #281)

I've never seen one of these before, ad it took several 'stalks' before I managed to get some photos. Even so, they didn't like to sit for photos and there are some huge crops here.
