Now is as good a time as any to do this quick report:  reflection of all the good times in the Kwando concession - so, I will make 10 posts with 10 pictures each from over the years to portray why the concession is special to me!  (all photos in this brief report from only Lagoon and Lebala)

@wilddog - no not the golden pack ....  

 

in about 2013 4 orange coat male dogs took over the pack and subsequently the pack is more light coated ..... we thought the 4 males came from the extreme north in an area called Muvumbi.

 

However, the Nat geo series from a couple of years ago filmed in Savuti has a similar coated pack.... I bet they are related !!!! Show is called “savage season”  .... look for season 1 which was filmed in savuti....

 

the following season was filmed in Mombo and not nearly as good ....

OMG what a fabulous set of images! I can't even name favorites, just fantastic each and every one. (Okay, Caracal! Aardvark! Brown Hyena! Amazing sunset silhouettes!) Great memories.
