After our stay at Kicheche Mara, we returned to Nairobi, and visited Nairobi National Park the following morning before heading home very late that night.

A few final photos from Nairobi.

We got a good look at black rhinos right away

We eventually came across a couple of white rhinos.

Only decent look at a malachite kingfisher the entire trip.

We then entered the world of less-than-efficient airports (Nairobi), an airport with an excellent KLM lounge (AMS), my least favorite airport in the universe (JFK), and a number of delayed flights before walking in our door at about 2 am local time.

gorgeous shots of the golden wolves and melanistic serval. sunrises and sunsets in MNC are always stunning, your shots show that! I had just joined ST 10 years ago, so probably missed your last postings prior to this TR, which hopefully won't be your last in a long long while, too?

Thanks for sharing your experiences and images.
