Japanese Macaques

recently returned from Japan and a visit to the Jigokudani Monkey Park on a day trip from Tokyo. the weather was extremely hot and we had low expectations for monkey sightings we were quite wrong as the monkeys were plentiful. few actually in the hot spring. they were totally oblivious to the humans traipsing through their habitat. the last photo is of a juvenile leaping and chirping though a small bush and i was quite lucky to find him peaking through the leaves. highly recommended if in Japan.
