The swan was in a constant battle with the geese. It didn't want them anywhere near the island in the background; they were intent on occupying it.

A few additions to make. I recently sent my 100-400mm lens away to be checked over as I couldn't quite be certain it was as good as it should be. It came back with a report that lens mount and inner lens elements had been replaced. Limited use since its return but I'm happy so far.

Thanks @xelas @Peter Connan @PeterHG @TonyQ, now I have no excuses, I just need to get out and take more pictures. We’ve a trip to Cornwall at the end of May, then South Luangwa at the end of June, so I hope to see my numbers increase a lot before long.
