That is one very informative trip report, filled with excellent photos. I did not noticed any "lack of experience" looking at your excellent bird photos.

 

At the end of any trip, only positive memories remains, and not so positive ones becomes great stories! Travelling solo does include a certain amount of stress, and using a driver/guide sometime add to the stress level.

 

Your portrait of Caprivi area is a great advertisement for this part of Namibia. It surely will be on the itinerary of my (our) visit #5, whenever it happens.

@xelas I’m glad that you enjoyed the trip report and that you found it informative.  Definitely Bwabwata and Nkasa Rupara are worth going out of your way to visit!  They would be a great addition to any self drive itinerary in Namibia or even in Botswana.
