@Peter Connan It was taken yesterday afternoon. Our first drive here. Also spent half an hour with a 10 day old elephant. Today has included wild dogs and a bush walk to within 50m or so of a bull elephant. I'm a happy bunny so far!

I am very envious @pomkiwi. A thunderstorm in the Lowveld bush is the most awesome and fulfilling experience I know of, and have fond memories of sleeping on the porch with lightning flashing all about, the smell of wet earth permeating.

I wanted to post to say that I spent a great deal of time going through this entire thread and being the human personification of this emoji: :wub:

 

You have to look pretty carefully at the second and third photo but you'll see a sweet baby angel to the far left of his mother.
