Thanks!

And this is the case at home, there is unfortunately no place available.

How do you choose from such a great portfolio? Time to build an extension? :)

The choice is more difficult than one might think. Indeed, a good photo does not necessarily make a nice wall hanger. As for the extension, well, why not but I'd rather spend money to travel.

@bushdog I can't get enough of your photos. Those elephants taking a mud bath are simply awesome.

7th & LASTGAME DRIVE

On the way, the small group of lions, with the three cubs, was still around the ponds and one of the two hippos was back and had taken a stand in one of them, decided to hold it.

When we got to our destination, one of the lions was a little apart from a few meters from the carcass, the other being busy feeding on it,

Until it decided that it was perhaps time, considering that there was not much left of the carcass, not to share it anymore with its brother. As soon as it stood, one saw directly in his eyes what were its intentions. So, they clashed, growling. It sounded like the start of a Grand Prix.

They were each desperately hooked to one half of their prey and remained so a certain time, the rumblings decreasing in intensity to finally stop.

7th & LASTGAME DRIVE

We then focused our attention on a herd of elephants that arrived behind the lions. Not facing the wind, they had not scented their presence and had not yet seen them. It was only when they were level with them that they stopped, probably alerted by some noises coming from them. Having very poor visual acuity, I am not sure that they saw them and if they did, they could not really discern what it was.

Then they saw the two cars,

And decided to move away. But,it seemed that it was not the direction they had initially decided to take, probably that of water.

They looked confused and hesitated while approaching the vehicles again, left, hesitated again, and moved in their initial direction.

In doing so, they found themselves in the wind and immediately picked up the scent of lions and blood. Now, for sure, they knew what it was. In two ticks, they were gone in the direction they had come to the start.

Meanwhile, the lions had calmed down and shared, as brothers, the product of their hunt.

Hippo, lion, elephant all in one view. Very impressive while it lasted, before the eles figured out the lions were there. Those 2 big male lions ripping at the carcass are a powerful sight!

A most successful trip!
