Wow, you have been busy this weekend. Great you saw the Ornate Hawk-Eagle. I'm a bit puzzled about your Purple-Crowned Fairy - it does look like one but that bird does not occur higher than 1,800 m. Sure that's from San Gerardo?

You are correct, Purple-Crowned Fairy photo was taken at Bosque del Tolomuco.

 

The Ornate-Hawk-Eagle, if not for our guide Donald The Hawkeye, it would remain just the dark spot high up in the sky. Same comment is valid also for King Vulture.

 

I have nothing else to do while waiting for your post about Manuel Antonio !
