I am still catching up! I am now up to 500-,amazing.

A real beauty to reach this total. I must also put in a word for the Long tailed Silky-flycatcher, lovely bird, excellent photo.

I like these because a lot have descriptive names. Names such as 'Snowcap' for a bird with a white cap, "Spot-breasted Wren" for a small bird with spots on its breast and of course Spotted Sandpiper for a Sandpiper with spots.

Makes it so much easier for us to agree than an allegedly "Social" flycatcher being anything but sociable.

Keep em coming. 600 is but a small step although you are running out of alphabet.

Pinkish-brown bill is signature of Streak-headed Woodcreeper. Below is a better photo but the bird lacks the pinkish bill. Still I think is the same specie.
