Thanks everyone for the welcoming words.

 

Well, what to say about travel in 2021? The Australian border is closed until sometime in 2022 so right now I am grateful that I live in a truly "big country" where there are some interesting and diverse domestic travel options. Later in the year I'm heading for Queensland and Western Australia to add to my Australian bird list.

@Galana, the black swan were doing very well at Lake Kramen, nesting season was well under way.

a stunning king parrot. and that yellow robin was a favourite of mine when we saw them for the first time 2 years ago.
