Coming along nicely. I don't wish to appear too corrective but the first of your Herons does not look right to me. The head is not black and the whole jizz does not fit. Legs too. But the wing pattern from what I can see is correct. I wonder if they hybridise?

Thanks Fred  :  makes me think if I will not stick to three pictures at the most from now one  This is the other picture I took from the mokoro when the heron suddenly flew over ; the head isn't black I agree but in an immature or juvenile Black-headed it isn't either ( see above in flight ) Could  it be an Hybrid ? Perhaps , as I read they exist and to be honest after consideration it could still be a Grey Heron ....

My guess is it could be. The 'black' in even Black-headed juv comes below the eye and that bird only has a 'cap' like a Grey..
