Thanks a lot @PeterHGstill looking for some more  in the pictures I took on the day before Christmas near to Ysermonde but time is running out as you know ;) and given the distance from where I took them identification is difficult to say the least but if you are hooked ...

This is the end of my first BY ; I started late but loved it from the start and like safari it is indeed addictive so the day after tomorrow I will be on my way to find my first birds for 2023 ; thanks to everyone who loved my first year and especially those who helped me ! 

 

To end some photos of the Ysermonde in Nieuwpoort which is a birders paradise but getting close is difficult : please let me know if you see some other birds

I hesitated a long time but I didn’t see a red eye but what about this one from the 14th of October just before midnight ( in Belgium) ?:lol:
