Those common cuckoos were tricksy when we were there - they teased endlessly with the calls but so hard to get a good photo, so well done with an easily recognisable shot.

Well planned with the Spotted redshank and love the Avocet chick.

One needs to be a bit cuckoo to try for a sighting.

Winter is unseasonably late down here. Not sure if that might have delayed some of the migrants?
