Nice additions. I only just noticed you have a new camera (R3).

I hope you have a lot of fun with it!

Thanks @TonyQit was an unexpected gift. I am getting used to it - two weeks in the Kruger and I just about worked everything out…

I know Mallards are often considered almost a pest (like Gyppos here), but they really are pretty birds.

Great work on this batch!

I just found an unprocessed folder from January. I think I had split it in two and then promptly forgot about it as I left for RSA...

There is a rubbish dump/recycling centre, so there are often large flocks of gulls and other birds flying around, but you cannot get any closer than the road to the site. This sort of thing....

There were apparently Caspian and glaucous gulls around, so if anyone cares to do the "Where's Wally?" puzzle above to find one, please let me know!

I guess this is a juvenile something or other....

The weather has finally broken, so I have left the house. Although it sounds like I missed out on some excellent starling murmurations literally down the road from my house due to this lassitude!

This is my first photo of this species for years, so please forgive the distance involved! There were at least 4 individuals present and I was happy with just hearing them booming, until this happened, 2 in one frame (with the active gravel works in the background).
