Ken/Whorty1970,

Check out the Wilderness safaris home page. Your New (current) Two brother coalition feature on one of their photos on their home page. One of the boys, have the distinct tear mark that you can't miss ...........

Posted

Whorty - you are right Shakira has 3 cubs - I think they are all females

Thanks, Ken - Where can I find your full gallery of images from that CKGR trip?

Some nice images there Nick, particularly the last two.

I hope to catch up with the coalitions when we visit Rekero this Sept.

Looking forward to it!

Those 3 brothers are great hunters. I'm sure you will get some good leopard sightings too. I quite like Rekero's Land Cruisers because the side window and also the roof are available as camera supports.

Thanks Nick

This was my one reservation re. the vehicles in Kenya/Tanzania, being spoilt with the open types offered in Bots, Zam & RSA. I hope I can adapt to the closed in type offered @ Rekero.

Would you happen to have some images of the vehicles to show me? Were you using just a bean bag?

Can send them here if you like:

Many lovely shots, truly award winning. I am especially partial to the youngsters and will add one photo here. I found that I occasionally wondered about these little guys for years. Since I dug this one up I'm making it my personal photo.

Lynn, nice pic!!! Would love to see a pic or two of our friend from the Lebala/Selinda boundary. Please post when time permits. I've been reading all sightings report waiting to hear of her whereabouts and a possible new litter.

Lynn. What do you think when you see this? Look at the grass.

I even have one looking the same way as yours I think, and I believe only two cheetah cubs are visible in that shot, which is why I kept this one instead. It's hidden away in backup storage somewhere but I may look it out. I took it end of September 2008.

Russell, my kind of picture ... I love it. The light, sense of space, composition all works. Tks.

Thanks, Twaffle, it made the 6 hours of waiting in blistering heat worth it.

Dedication has its' own rewards! :D
