Anything else from December? If not the Kingfisher really was a great bird to finish this thread - beautiful! Another really enjoyable Big Year from you Tony, thank you for taking us along. Hope you already found the Redstart. :)

So no new birds for 2020. Thank you for all the supportive comments along the way.

We were very lucky to get to Malaysia in February - good birding and good food!

We missed out on our trip to South Africa, but were lucky to get a trip to Yorkshire and a trip to Norfolk.

We are of course also lucky that we are both still healthy.

I am pleased to have 125 British birds, and an overall total of 257.

My two favourtie birds from 2020 - one from a distant location

and one much closer to home

Tawny Owl, our garden.

I look forward to Big Year 2021 - it gives an excuse to get the camera out again and start looking for birds - even if the range of locations will probably be limited!

I hope lots of you will be taking part:)

worthy favourites Tony.

Looking forward to 2021. Even though the start is not very promising @michael-ibkhas promised it will be a much better year, so nothing to be concerned about. :P

I can see why that would be your favourites, @TonyQ! At least you have some good trips and a lot of beautiful photos to look back on. Let's make it a bird-rich 2021!
