I am still on the fence about id. Two people have said western, but it might be a white-rumped. Anyone know? Unfortunately the only photo of this one.

Lovely additions - I can't help with your sandpiper!

The nests for the Martins are very interesting, I have not seen them before.

@TonyQ Thanks! The martins were a species of special concern here, but people put up these colony houses, which they love, and it's helped give the species a boost. They're cavity nesters, so when are the trees were gone, the species declined. They really like the gourd-shaped houses, though.

Really cool new birds! The Piping Plover (adult and chick) is impossibly cool, and I always love Skimmers.

192. wood duck (baby), Northwestern CT, USA, 6/21

This poor baby kept calling for its mother, but no one answered. It was wandering around in the woods, and then crossed the road into a small marsh. No mama. But it seemed to be old enough to eat on its own, and the water was too shallow for snapping turtles.

193. Yellow-billed cuckoo, Northwestern CT, USA, 6/21

I endured three deer fly bites for this image! Our native cuckoos are very secretive.

CONGRATULATIONS ! you have won the EBC of the Year with the Sora, no question of that. @Galana and @pedro maia I'm afraid you will be chasing a lost cause from now on!!

Some lovely birds added to your list though, the Skimmer is high on my target list.
