Rumour had it that one of my favorite birds had arrived at the nearby lakes.

Worth going out for Waxwings and nice portrait.

A Hume`s Warbler is on the Island at the moment.

Probably the same bird that was in the Copenhagen area recently.

I got to see it briefly but could not even get an EBC as it was in a dark forest in poor light all the time.

Anyhow it was a lifer and a great tick for Denmark.

Instead I had to settle for some distant.

Hume´s Warbler, that´s cool. Really love your Waxwing. Ever since I´ve become more serious about birds I´ve been waiting for them to show up down here - but still no luck.

Waxwing is a lovely bird ... which I have also not seen yet.

I also have not seen one. We check twitter every few days for the waxwing alerts and tracking info, but nothing close to us yet.

Today we went to the Northwestern part of the Island.

Cloudy and light rain. Not a lot of action but had a nice sighting of app 20 of these

I was alerted by all the geese taking flight and had this one flying overhead.
