Wahlberg's? Lesser Spotted? Ostrich? Please help!

Almost sure that is not an Ostrich. The legs are too short.

A great and varied collection! Hard to decide on the flight shot.

Mzansi is decked out in green and gold.

I know next to nothing about rugby - there are 15 players on a team, and that's about it. But even I have RWC fever. (I might not have a Springbok jersey to wear, but I'm doing my bit with dinner, though: venison pie (no, not  not springbok - that might be a bad omen), with green peas and stewed yellow peaches...)

So, some greenish and goldish images to support the Bokke:

Oh, and if you are watching the game tonight, keep an eye out for our captain, Siya Kolisi, when he sings the national anthem. Pure passion and determination.

Go, Bokke!

Well done on your bird in one @Tdgravesand thanks!

And well done to NZ, who had to play a great part of the match without their captain, and, apparently is the first team to have scored a try against SA in a RWC final. You had us very, very nervous!

You made us incredibly proud, Bokke - thanks so much!!!

Hope all is well but I'm sure it is. Keep posting when you find the time, I love looking at South African/Namibian birds as I plan to return in due course and a big ambition is a pelagic from Cape Town.

Happy New Year!
