A bad photo can be a good EBC:P

BIF96 Common reed warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus)

Rouxinoldoscanios.jpg.78369f9b2bbc8afd32401594ed1735a3.jpg

The reed warbler just photobombed the picture, I didn´t even notice it while shooting.

Really difficult to take decent BIF pictures, it was blasting past the hide from time to time, finally it perched for an instant and gave me a chance to use the raw burst mode.

The star from the lagoon in front of the hide, it occurs in other places but it´s difficult to see except in this spot, there were several individuals flying by or perching in the reeds, it wasn´t easy but I fanally was able to take some nice shots (sorry for the overload but I find it really cool).

And last from the Algarve, but not least, a rarity, the first I found by myself (in a salt pan).

Agree, many excellent shots. Love the Hoopoe of course, and also the Swallow.

Again some species that are really hard to get a flight shot of, but you managed, even the little grebe, the kingfisher and the phalarope! Great to get the reed warbler in flight and even get two very good bonus birds in the same picture.

You are making great use of the BIF idea.

Some excellent photos. You did brilliantly with the Kingfisher.

I did a 10 days trip to Japan with the family, it was mostly an urban trip and the birding was limited (also because of the heat), 26 species of which only half were new for my world count, none was particularly exciting.
