Congrats on reaching a beautiful #100 ! Never a good thing to lose your phone on a trip. Lots of excellent shots again in the last batches and quite a few that would have been lifers for me.

101/O69) Booted Eagle (Hieraaetus pennatus) / Zwergadler

Salalah, Oman, 28/2/2024. The only sighting. I could have sworn I had seen this one many times in Africa but my ebird data says only in South Africa. Seen several times in Spain, Portugal and Italy though.

111/O79) Great Grey Shrike (Lanius excubitor) / Raubwürger

Ayn Hamran Southern Plains, Oman, 29/2/2024. A complicated species - Oman birds used to be considered as two species, Steppe Grey Shrike and Southern (Iberian) Grey Shrike. Now all back to being a subspecies of Great Grey Shrike. A handful of sightings.
