i must admit I do like this shot, which reminds us of a splendid lion sighting in the ktp and works quite nicely in Black & White (november 2018 panasconic G9)

Back in the Timbavati last week after three years absence. Lots of excellent lion and leopard sightings. One of the more interesting was viewing a pride of 26 individuals gathered around and inside their buffalo meal. Here one of the two adult males is framed by a heap of very dirty cubs:

Up a tree in the Masai Mara! The Lioness was being hounded by two males and escaped up the tree for a bit of peace and quiet. One of the males followed, which didn't work out that well as he didn't fit and the branch he chose was a bit bendy!

 

June 2018, near Rhino Ridge with an EOS 750D, Sigma zoom at 100mm, f5.6, ISO1600
