Some great photos again, Peter, beautiful flight shot of the Jacana and those waterdrops in the Saddle-billed Stork shots really add action and atmosphere to the photos!

Your thread is such a joy to read. Superb photos throughout - borrowed camera or your own. And now you have reached 150!

I really like the Jacana as well - but they all tell me I need to get working a bit harder :)

Strangely enough, the previous one I photographed (on the Primitive Trail) was also standing in the river. Is that something they do @@offshorebirder ?

164) Red-billed Oxpecker:

Here I broke my own rule by holding a bird back. This is the last "new" bird from my day in the Kruger, but these are two sightings that I really enjoyed.

The first was this poor Giraffe, who was carrying around enough Oxpeckers for a whole herd of Buffalo:

And all the way up his neck:

He got so tired of them eventually, he shook his head to get rid of a few:

And then later in the afternoon, these guys were taking a bath while their Dagga bul was taking a rest:

Only one LBR?! No way!!

Dagga boy enjoying the refreshing shower by oxpecker is my favourite in this batch of excellent photos.
