A magnificent 300 ! Some of my top target birds in your collection so I am a tad envious too. Spotted Redshank in breeding plumage, Green Woodpecker and the only one missing is a Merlin ( I think).

Keep it going Alex.

Thanks for encouragments, Dave. As I am also approaching #100 of European birds, I am afraid future posts will be more like in the "one per week" realm.

Seewinkel always gave us some excellent birds, and overall great birding. A long weekend out of UK is an option. And there is one great bird hide, photos from which I will post separately.

Congratulations on 300! And what a lovely photo to get there on too, not to mention the fine Martins in flight!

Same from me too on the #300. A great achievement with some great sightings too. I sense there are more to come.

Only a few more, @Galana. Now I am in the "a bird a week makes a birder a happy guy" realm. As quick as the tortoise, the hare has become. Only visiting a very different area would change the pace. Or visit of an experienced birder, to go birding together.

I now how you must feel. I sallied forth yesterday, saw lots of species but had already counted all bar one that I promptly missed a shot of.

Now birds are getting smaller, and quicker. Not all of them, luckily :). Interestingly, all of this group has been photographed on the same day.

Congratulations on reaching 300 @xelas, lovely Yellow Wagtail and I am also envious of the Green Woodpecker, we went on a hunt for one a while ago with no success.
