The Oriole is a belter Tony. When I see Black-winged Kite shots it brings both envy and the bad memory of being locked in a box for 16 hours whilst seeing nothing! My day will come though!!

@TonyQ great pictures, I don’t really have plans to go to India but I would love to visit Kaziranga.

16 hours for 30 seconds of the Kite. Cost me 120 euros too!

Excuse the interruption Tony.

@Dave Williams you need to get yourself to South Africa, plenty of them there. Great exchange rate, excellent food and drink and plenty to keep the OH busy....

I do love a fishing owl @TonyQ

Posted

Relatively common they might be but that Brahminy Starling is a stunning photograph.

Like the Blue-bearded BeeEater too. All I got in Kaziranga hardly made an EBC

Posted

A great collection and some beautiful shots in there - the oriole, starling and Blossom headed Parakeet are real standouts

Posted

Wonderful start with your Indian birds @TonyQ, love the pics of Black necked Stork, Black winged Kite and Brahminy starling.
