We need more of that Pipit. The supercilium looks good but not conclusive.

Yes for Stonechats although not gender specific.

Yes for House Sparrow.

@Galana I was afraid of that answer, unfortunately I don’t have a picture of the whole bird so it won’t count.

A belated welcome to the Big Year also from me - You are really getting into this very quickly. Lots of cool species already, the Lisboa area is obviously very productive.

@michael-ibk Thanks for the welcome (not late at all).

Lisboa is next to the ocean, sits on a river estuary with rich agricultural land nearby and most of the time has a mild climate, that must be why it´s quite a good area for birding in european terms, I think.

This one I think it´s an European Serin, but the pictures are terrible, against the light, and the editing doesn´t improve them but I think it is enough for ID (and I think I read something about every bird counting, so I´m willing to take profit of that idea):

@pedro maia  some nice new birds but also some misindentifications.

I am pretty sure that your Little Ringed Plover is a Common Ringed Plover

The Little Stint is a Ruddy Turnstone.

@mvecht thanks, I need to pay more attention to details, I’ll correct the plover and discount the turnstone since I already have it.

Any thoughts on my other guesses (Curlew Sandpiper and Zitting Cisticola)?

You are certainly getting the hang of EBCs.

I'll go along with the Zitter and the Curlew Sandpiper on account of the more prominent supercilium.

And congratulations on your half century.:P

I have to go with the EBCs but since this is not a sprint I think what I´ll do with the worst ones is an "incubator", I´ll have them reserved for the case that by the end of the year I don´t have a better picture.

Thanks for the congrats, I´m half way from my goal, things are going to get tougher but I think I´m going to be the rookie of the year (easy, being the only one )
