congrats! you're top of the table now that you've passed @michael-ibk 's lead. a very tight race and with 7 more months to go.

Lovely waxbills, all.

That will only be temporarily, as I know about @michael-ibk next move :D! And he is much more dedicated birder then me or Zvezda will ever be. Which gives us hopes to join him for some birding later in the year.

Let´s hope that will work out indeed. Great collection of Weavers, Friends and "end of the book" stuff - really incredible numbers of species, and super photos all the way through. Don´t think I can catch you, after all you will get many locals already tomorrow. :)

Uganda total of 349 species is quite an achievement, IMHO. This would be impossible to reach if we would not be guided by 2 expert birders. Thanks you both, Emmy and Fred!

Now, there is one extra photo which might get our total to 350. What is you opinion about this bird; photo taken on 29/02 at 12:22 on the way from Lake Mburo to Entebbe (just before the lunch stop)

Indeed, 349 (or 350) is an incredible number - well done! Is this a single country record for the Big Year?  Beautiful finale with the Bunting!

It was our pleasure! Thank you for following our Uganda BY. For next 5 months at least, there will be only sporadic local ones.

I think so, but @pedro maia will surely look into and inform us.

Thanks for your kind words, Michael.
