Well when your read this is it any wonder my eyebrows go up?

These bright sparks don't even know that Lake Manyara is not in Kenya!!

"The Northern Fiscal was previously combined with the Southern Fiscal to form the Common Fiscal. The two species can be mutually found in Angola, Tanzania, and Zambia. Northern Fiscal can also be found north of these countires and Southern Fiscal can also be found south of these countries. Where the species overlap, DNA analysis can be used for differentiation."

I saw you struggling at times with a heavy Camera so perhaps Zvezda was carrying the DNA Kit?

Nice photos!:P

Beautiful shrikes, bushshrikes, puffbacks and so on! I especially like the Lühder's Bushshrike photo.

You are talking about Pink-footed, yes? There is no other photo where legs are visible... however there is a photo that show its eye and it is dark, and not red as with Northern Puffback female.

I noticed the Grey-chinned Sunbird had its back to the camera too.:P these birds can be darn uncooperative.

But he is correct. That is a Pink-footed Puffback. Its the only female Puffback with such a rich buff breast.

Good news from the government, epidemy is officially over. Although I have some doubts that the virus is reading the newspapers. Anyway, the 7-day quarantine on entering Slovenia is dropped.

But that does not mean we will be travelling soon. And there are more birds from Uganda to be posted.

Wow. I can’t imagine Australia dropping its border controls any time soon. We still can’t even travel interstate without quarantine.

Well, that's great news, but like you I hope the disease is reading the papers.

Is it actually over, or does the government just feel that it has the ability to cope?

I think it is a case of putting profit before people!
