Interesting to see SLO can boast both versions Ssp. of caudatus.

Nice additions to any list.

Must be a Slovenian thing. In UK a couple means 2.:P

And usually of the same species!

Well it can and does mean many things and I am ignoring the verb.

To be fair to my friend from Ljubijana my copy of Collins Concise does say "5b. 'a couple of' can mean 'a small number of ' as in 'a couple of days'!" which can be non specific. (It's what I tell my wife when I am going away)  "Just a couple of hours/days/weeks dear!"

Although admittedly its roots are based on two as in 'to connect two things'.

Luckily you have used our preferred colour, just in too bright of a version! Just for the record, the original photo was not processed at all!

How many colleagues do you estimate there are?:o

I know you well enough to say such things as your misuse of English is one of your more endearing traits.

I tend to use the Oxford Dictionary more often; but subtle meanings are still hidden so please, explain it to me, I want to have some laugh also :). OK no need I have estimated myself the number of my esteemed colleagues that are already, or will be laughing today.

And please tell me when my misuse of English will become intolerable. I can always switch to Slovenian ... not that even my family always understands what I am saying in Slovenian :D.

Be patient. He needs time to filter out all those 8000 photos of Bulbuls and Grey-headed Sparrows.:P

Seems he has even got a Tortoise doing his post processing for him.:o

You guys are lucky that you got your trip just in time!  At least you have something to keep you occupied for a good while Alex.
