Excellent achievement and this was the year to hit out big time as there was less pollution created by the BY'ers flying all over the place!

Many thanks - still a few more, let´s see how far this will go.

401/K148) Red-Capped Lark (Calandrella cinerea) / Rotkappenlerche

Ol Pejeta, 21/11/21. Another common short-grass species.

403/K150) Yellow-Bellied Eremomela (Eremomela icteropygialis) / Gelbbaucheremomela

Sandai Farm, 17/11/21. A tiny bird so I was happy about this pretty close encounter.

405/K152) Yellow-Breasted Apalis (Apalis flavida) / Gelbbrust-Feinsänger

Ol Kinyei, 12/11/21. A pretty little bird but I can‘t help feeling a little disappointed when I see it. There are dozens of Apalis species in the birdbook but this is the only one I come across normally.

406/K153) Grey Apalis (Apalis Cinerea) / Graurücken-Feinsänger

Aberdares, 18/11/21. Not the most splendiferous bird but a new Apalis species and therefore a lifer for me - Hooray!

408/K155) Grey-Capped Warbler (Eminia lepida) / Graukappensänger

Aberdares, 18/11/21. They were very busy singing. Seen a couple of times - another lifer. :)

409/K156) Hunter's Cisticola (Cisticola hunteri) / Gebirgszistensänger

Aberdares, 16/11/21. Very, very common here. Quite nice to watch (for a Cisticola) since they are duetting all the time.

410/K157) Rattling Cisticola (Cisticola chiniana)

Ol Kinyei, 12/11 - and everywhere else. Widespread and common in all safari areas.

411/K158) Winding Cisticola (Cisticola marginatus) / Heuglinzistensänger

Aberdares, 17/11/21. More or a wetland species so not the most obvious place for this one (though there are plenty of creeks around). Just this one sighting. I think Levaillant´s would be the other possible candidate but tail and back don´t look right for that one.

412/K159) Aberdare Cisticola (Cisticola aberdare) / Aberdarezistensänger

Aberdares, 17/11/21. A Kenyan endemic, and an inhabitant of the highland´s montane grass and moorland zone. A popular twitch although not too hard to find with a bit of patience.

413/K160) Siffling Cisticola (Cisticola brachypterus) / Kurzflügel-Zistensänger

Ol Pejeta, 19/11/21. Probably! It sounded differently than a Rattler, the tail would not fit that species, and it does seem to be a reasonable match to the pictures I found online. But it´s a Cisticola - and therefore I really cannot be sure.

414/K161) Pectoral-Patch Cisticola (Cisticola brunnescens) / Blasskopf-Zistensänger

Ol Pejeta, 21/11/21. A tiny one! Quite sure about this ID, since they were pretty vocal, and I compared with the songs in the App. Quite a scattered range, I´ve seen it on the other end of Africa in Gabon before.

415/K162) Eastern Olivaceous Warbler (Iduna pallida) / Blassspötter

Ol Pejeta, 21/11/21. Not a species I have a lot of experience with (only seen once before in Bulgaria) and there are several other possible candidates, so opinions most welcome

417/K164) Mountain Yellow-Warbler (Iduna similis) / Bergspötter

Aberdares, 16/11/21. And another lifer. Very similar to the bird just posted, but occurring at higher elevations, and sporting an olive-green (not black) cap.
