Quick one while heading across to create some new game drive loops in the NP. It was one of the best sunrises EVER here. The cloud was just right. Sadly we had to get to work and free up the boat for guests to use so I could only grab a few shots ;)

@@KaingU Lodge gorgeous shot, I feel like a crew member, thanks.

Often the first african sunrise is on the plane, and your heart is beating fast.

@@Ben mosquito - so true. And then someone starts getting all annoyed because you are the only one on the plane with the window blind up.... :-)

the photo was taken from the window opposite to the galley when everybody has to wake up before breakfast and landing.

And a few days later on an island, lost in the Okavango panhandle.

Our last evening in Zambia 2012

We took a boot ride with Camp Nkwazi.

Many clouds and light rain when we started to our Sundowner tour on the Zambezi.

A short time before the sun cam down there was a gab in the clouds and we had our most colourful sunset in Africa.

Out on the river the other morning. A French travel writer was here on a flying visit and asked my what was really worth seeing. Fortunately he concurred that the river at sunrise is an absolute highlight.
