Sunset overlooking the northern reaches of the Drakensberg range near Lydenburg (Mashishing) in South Africa.

This stream is the Spekboom river and this property is a lovely fly-fishing spot in the mountains with crystal clear water (set in the Mount Anderson Catchment Reserve).

A few from the last couple of weeks. Pilots tell me the inversion is up to well over 10,000' right now, the smoke and dust is enough. The heat is such that our solar pump controller is shutting down at lunchtime (I want to do the same). Bring on the rains (and it isn't even October)!
