Nice.

Love the White-breasted Wood Swallows.

Did that poor Buffalo have to sit there for the full season while the Egret moulted?:D

And now a bonus - especially to bring a bit of cheer to those in quarantine or lockdown (a repeat of Long-tailed Finch)

As the year heads towards April it is, naturally, getting harder to find new species in our local park.  But here's a couple.

Agree with @Soukous , great to see your photos of so many unfamiliar and sometimes weird-looking birds.

Thanks @Soukous. I feel for those around the world who cannot even go for a walk. It’s what keeps me sane. Keep strong

thanks @PeterHG. I feel the same seeing birds that are probably so common to many of you but that don’t exist in Australia like waxbills, tits and even bulbuls. It’s one of the best things about BY

Ok so I know this is not a great shot - but it is fairly indicative of the urban expert this bird has become.  So comfortable is it in our cities and towns that it has become known affectionately (or not) as the Bin Chicken.

This one has me very excited - it is a rare visitor to our garden but one came in a few times today collecting nesting material from our tiger grass.  These were taken off my back deck.
