I’m not sure why you thought that you’d get a better shot of the mannikin! Lovely.

Congrats on a brilliant effort, especially given how australia was in total lockdown for the entire year.

Well done, snuck in for an extremely creditable 200 and some excellent shots to boot!

Mind you being locked down in Australia doesn't seem too bad to me!

An excellent year Sharon, and I've added lots of places to my Australian 'must visit' list, so thanks for that as well

Mmmmm, time will tell.At the moment we are locked up hard and fast with half a dozen Delta cases, so who knows.

Yay, 200+. Ive never seen a Dollarbird, will have to try harder next year

Can’t disagree that it’s a great place, although my feet are itching madly. Have an Africa trip booked for Jan 2023 which I am cautiously optimistic will happen. If we are really lucky we might squeeze in a Bali trip before then.

Glad to hear it. There are plenty of great birding spots to be found.

They are migratory so you need to be here in the wet season, they are pretty easy to spot when they are around as they love to sit up high so are often seen on powerlines

Well done on reaching 200 in a really difficult year. Wonderful photos throughout.

NT looks like a great place for birds!
