Always cool to get a Green Woodpecker! And so many beautiful doubles from Kenya, I‘m glad you posted them. :)

Yep, you should see the rooks and partridges that thankfully never needed to be used!

I have the same issue. These barely qualify as EBC quality.:D

Good grief. that 2nd Reed Bunting is almost worthy of framing.

What EBCs are you talking about@Tdgraves???

Now this is a proper EBC, even after cropping, Lightrooming - beyond all help :

Probably. It's not  a Woodpecker so that narrows it down for you.:)

How many more in the folder before we get to see some proper EBC's ? you have had a great year in terms of getting some cracking shots.

None Dave! The only garden bird I was missing was a greenfinch, which frequent my feeders daily, but given my aversion to feeder shots, I haven't bothered to get one all year. I had positioned my camera in my downstairs loo today, but the rain was against me and I didn't see any at all. Therefore 2022 ends on 440. If we hadn't had the dreaded lurgy in the States, there would definitely have been more, perhaps 20 or so and although my operation stopped me going out locally for four months, I think I have got the majority of local species that I would usually collect (I don't have a UK list breakdown). However, I don't think that I would have beaten my best year of the competition so far, which was 2019, at 472, due to visiting more continents....

Congratulations on reaching  a decent score in the face of the problems you encountered this year. 2023 starts in under two hours (GMT) and it will be light at about 07.00 or so. Just saying~!
