Should be @xelas another 11 days worth of photos...

Good good. Look forward to them.

Sadly I am unhappy with your Southern Black Flycatcher. The brownish primaries and tail suggest our friend the FT Drongo.

Many good additions again, @Tdgraves! The Lake Panic bird hide can be a rewarding place, though quite busy sometimes.

@Galana I think it may be a trick of the light - how about this angle??

It's a tough call alright. I am not too strong on Southern Blacks (they skulk a  lot) when I do find one. I wonder if the brown primaries are a moulting change?

No red eye for a Drongo so maybe just leave it. If you end up with a tie breaker we can let the others decide.:P

Nice ebc with the Black Crake. The feet look like 2 large red spiders

More good sightings, especially the White-Headed Vulture and the Buttonquail. I´m always struggling with Brown Eagles so I´m curious - why do you think this is a Wahlberg´s and not a Tawny? Absence of crest and size of bill would suggest the latter to me?

@michael-ibk It was the eye colour (brown), but as soon as I posted it, I began to wonder. I have checked other angles and the eyes are definitely brown. Then, Roberts says tawny is "brownish" whereas SASOL states "yellow" . My shot shows an almost identical bird to Roberts under tawny, so 389) is now tawny. I don't think I had any better sightings of one and I'm sure I can find a Wahlberg's somewhere else....

Love the Button-Quail. So rarely seen long enough for a decent photo.

Nothing to add from the 6th (was predator, rather than bird heavy)..
