Thank you all, my friends! The surgery went well, surgeon said "we are doing this to improve, not to degrade", and after 4 days I am already typing with 2 fingers (OK, that many I have used also before the surgery). Next week the stitches goes out and the rehab will start. I will keep you "in the loop". No new birds were spotted in the meantime, and lockdown is still enforced, so not much that I have lost for BY.

I may book in for that if I can type with two fingers afterwards..

Good news from the "operation front". 12 days after the surgery the stitches were taken out, and all five fingers are functional. The test photo is below. There are now 4 weeks (max) to get the hand back into the pre-op state (or better).

Birds of prey are also returning to Slovenia. We have lots of Common Kestrels, they do love to hunt over the fileds so later in the season I will surely get a better photo. This is however the first sighting of the year, thus it deserves to be published. Major crop applied.
