@Dave Williams wish i  had foxes and badgers like you get in your garden!

The Badger has started digging for food in our absence on holiday.... you might change your mind then!!

We also had a single wild Goat turn up too who did a bit of shrub damage, still in my book it's worth it. A bit disheartening for Claire who's the green fingered one though.

17. Great Cormorants, Woodlands Waterfront park

An EBC and a heavily cropped shot  from yesterday. Technically, the location should have been the Johore Straits as the flock of eight Great Cormorants were flying just above the shores of the Johore state, but we saw it from the Singapore shores. Cormorants do not occur i Singapore, and great cormorants migrate only to Malaysia. In 2004, a flock was seen i Singapore and were suspected to have escaped either from theJohore zoo or the Singapore bird park but apparently juveniles were seen with them, so they are breeding somewhere.

24. Asian Emerald Dove, Dairy Farm NP

A near-threatened species, you can sometimes find the resident in this park walking in a compound feeding.

26. Rufous-bellied Eagle, Singapore Quarry

A migrant. there was a juvenile that stayed a bit but the adult came and went within a day, so we missed the chance to have a shot of it.

Going very 'Green' now with a stunning  Emerald Cuckoo and Green-backed Flycatcher. However they do not diminish the rest of your offerings today.

Love your additions and great photos again by Herman! I have to be careful around here not to say too many positive things about doves, but that Emerald Dove is one of my favourites!

I would say it's probably easier to go elsewhere which is less restrictive. Singapore still requires foreign travellers to apply for a travel pass (there's a quota i think for the  number of people coming in), a need for pre-covid test, an on-arrival antigen test, and 7-day quarantine for those travelling outside of quarantine-free flights (with only a few countries).
