Oh my. I did Like your answer but I do not like the restrictions. Luckily the world is (slowly) opening. From Monday onward there are no restrictions/requirements on entering Slovenia! Anyone interested?!

31. Red Junglefowl, Pasir Ris Park

The predecessor of all domestic chickens, according to the experts. There was a white/leucistic rooster following the dominant normal-coloured male. The junglefowl broods have been hit in recent months as the changeable hawk eagle and now the crested goshawk juveniles have been feasting on the chicks.

39. Grey Plover, Pulau Ubin

An EBC. this place is generally reliable for waders and shorebirds but they are so far out on the sandbar.

Some really nice birds!!

Posted

we'd been collecting the sightings since January but weren't sure if we wanted to do a BY thread, because even if we consciously say we won't do a BY list because we don't want to catch catch every bird and put up every bird, we still end up doing it whether we are doing a BY list or not. So in the end, we decided to call it a leisurely one, and just get what we can get without going crazy over it.

Is it ever possible do that? heck, no.

I'll put up a batch before I head out to Siem Reap this afternoon to get some critically endangered species! woohoo!

44. Buffy Fish Owl, Pasir Ris Park

Never-ending construction of tall residential buildings on our island to house a lot of imported population destroyed all the woodlands that this male's mate used to roost in, but this old faithful one-eyed male Buffy continues to roost in the car park amid the deafening construction noise.
