The pair of spotted wood owl residents are nesting a couple of owlets again this year.  we got only the adult when we were there in mid-January.

46. Indian Peafowl, Labrador Park

Not a resident species, but the peafowls have thrived in Sentosa and at this park. The male very kindly spread its gorgeous tail, while gazing across the sea.

50. Mangrove Whistler, Berlayer Creek

A very rarely seen resident species that is sought after in Pulau Ubin and Pulau Hantu, its appearance on the "mainland" was a big occasion for birders, not so much for photographers as it is quite a drab looking bird.

54. Slaty-breasted Rail, Marina East

The rail is on the left, and the smaller bird is the Baillon's Crake (#18).

This is leisurely ? ;) Lots of great photos again!

Beautiful Barn owl picture.  Well done getting past 50 already.

LOL - @xelas wish i can move like whoosh too. getting too old for that.

But thanks @xelas @PeterHG @Zim Girl

So Herman told me that i got my ID wrong with the smaller bird in #54. It isn't a slaty=breasted rail chick. It's a Bailon's Crake (at number #18) - an adult at that! ive fixed it.

What's your idea of getting a move ? Lightening fast I imagine.

More great birds and it makes me want to travel east again! However, you have one bird that I have wanted to see clearly for quite a few years but such is the excellence of your photo I have decided to knock it off the list of "most wanted"!

Like a few other species I guess I have been attracted by the name but the bird itself, the Watercock, is a bit of a let down in my opinion!!

yea i know - pretty underwhelming, isn't it? perhaps in breeding plumage, the watercock may still stay higher in your list?
