Regrettably I don't think your Oriental Skylark is anything but a Pipit. Richards would fit well.

perhaps I picked the wrong photo, as we definitely saw one, although I thought this fitted with the photos I looked at. I’ll double check the folder

I thought I might have some chances to fight for the EBC King title but I see I can forget about that, and even @Galana is going to have a tough task to beat that...

The vertical stance and 'thinner' bill together with longer 'thighs' still suggests a Pipit to me.

Perhaps others my like to comment as I am no real judge.
