Amazing. Congratulations on the double century and what a bird to do it with.

The Yellow Wagtail is a stunner. I have never seen one in a tree.

Thanks @TonyQ I still prefer the longer reach of the 7d for birds, but 5d has better focussing and high ISO performance. A Kruger trip should tell, but in the Uk I think i’ll Stick to the 7d unless I know that the hides are close. Am off to the Caribbean next week, so that should help the assessment....

Thanks @Galana

the small patch of land that just looked like the corner of a farmers field had been left to grass was designated as an SSI. The wagtails, pipit, skylark, yellowhammer and linnet were all there. Perhaps that’s why it is an SSI?

Congrats on #200; one question related to last batch of photos: is there a reason that you did not cropped those photos?!

Also enjoy the Caribbeans; where to?

Oi! I won’t stand for that @Galana those birds are easily identifiable, not an EBC in sight....;)

Easily ... for who has a 20/20 sight B). The quality is there and some extra cropping would not hurt the image quality.

@xelas  I think it is up to each of us how we choose to post our photos, we all have our own different styles.
