Congratulations on a magnificent 200 and what a photo to clinch it with. PS is always a firm favourite with me whatever it does.

Thanks @Alex Rogers, @michael-ibk, @Zim Girl, @Galana, @Peter Connan, @xelas, now it´s time to try to reach the next double century, of species pictured only in Portugal, and it isn´t going to be easy.

Anyway, I´m not yet done with Botswana and Sa (not many more but still some to upload).

I think kingfishers are everybody´s favourites and I´m no exception, I only regret to have missed the opportunities this one gave us to take some nice in flight pictures, I totally blew all the tries, however my daughter, using very different camera settings, took these two that i think are pretty decent:

The first picture of the vulture was taken when we got out of the hide, the second was later already on game drive.

Next one is a gorgeous common bird, as many people say is probably the most photographed bird in African safaris and we had seen it before quite a few times and saw also a few in this trip:

#209/BT 50, 20/8, Lilac-breasted Roller, Mashatu

Anyway, I hadn´t been able to get one in flight and after failing with the Kingfisher at the photo hide I really wanted to get the LBR, and the next one gave me the chance and I´m very glad with the result, so I hope you forgive me for the overload:

I was not so lucky with next one but it came out of nowhere and quickly vanished inside the roots of a tree.

And the final new specie from Botswana (I still have a couple from the road back to Joburg) was this beautiful bird of prey:

I don't have my bird book with me but I have doubts that this is aTawny. Suggest Brown Snake Eagle.
