Congratulations on the century. At least I am certain I have never seen one before. Excellent shots!

@Soukous, again beautiful Birds amongst some beautiful plants and flowers. The Sugarbird shots are stunning. A pleasure to look at the 100.

With our government now making the - long overdue - decision to restrict movement I am about to be limited to the birds I can photograph in my garden. So this is my last batch of birds from anywhere else for the foreseeable future.

#102 - Knot  - Calidris canutus - (FTP #39) species revised on basis of more knowledgeable opinions.

#106 - Marsha Harrier - Circus aeruginosus

Titchwell Marsh, Norfolk, Mar 2020

I love my 200-500mm lens, and I never really noticed it before, but over the past couple of months there have been several occasions where it has struggled to focus quickly enough on BIF.

This harrier was quite far away, and I only had a few seconds but it is still annoying/disappointing

I was really surprised how compact the Brent Goose is when it is on the water. The long neck disappears and it looks more like a duck than a goose

Lots of these nesting in our garden, but I haven't managed a decent photo yet :(

Once again, we have a couple of these flitting around the garden, but I've never managed a decent shot.

and now we're down to the birds I was hoping i wouldn't have to post. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

#102 - Wood Sandpiper  - Tringa glareola - I think, not at all confident on Sandpipers

I agree. I don't think that is a Sandpiper either. It has the look of a Dunlin with that downward twist at the tip of the bill but wrong leg colours.

Some nice local additions. Love the Dark-bellied Brent portrait.

Don't knock feeders. You may be relying on them for some time if you cannot get out.;)

These 2 RSPB reserves are less than 10 miles apart (16km) and make a nice easy combination.

Snettisham Beach is basically just a coastal path but the tide goes along way out

It seems to be a magnet for Oystercatchers.

I also saw some nice Black-tailed Godwits but I've already listed that bird (#10), although in my previous posting they did not have nice colourful plumage.

and quite a few Turnstones (#3)

Titchwell Marsh has a much more varied habitat, with some nice waterlogged woodland, lakes and a lovely beach.

I saw at least 3 Marsh Harriers hunting over the reeds, although they were all quite distant.

Very nice photos, @Soukous. However you have travelled way too much thus good thing Boris has stopped you :D.

BTW what is wrong with Blackbird and pigeon(s)?! They all look much nicer than many of those LBJs. Not to mentioned easier to ID .

Maybe, but where's the challenge? I may as well photograph stuffed birds or roadkill.

I am certain stuffed birds would be disqualified on the grounds that not all the bird was present at the time of the photograph but as long as the roadkill was relatively fresh (not just squashed flat with a few bits of feather attached) I would count it.:P

These ARE desperate times and "Every ( whole) Bird Counts".
