I’ll add my congratulations on both the 200 and the 20 and of course on the beautiful photos of your Bahama birds! Also on your flight shot of the Grebe. That’s a pretty rare opportunity you managed to grab!

Congratulations most importantly on the anniversary but also on the double century!

Some really great birds too. And a GC Grebe in flight! I've never even seen one flying.

When I saw it coming I assumed it was a cormorant, so I was very shocked as well!

Congratulations on both 200 and 20! Beautiful Bahamas birds, paricularly like the Pigeon. (Never thought I’d say that.) Waiting for the Grey Kingbird to show up.;)

So am I. Would they look better when called "Doves?" I have never worked out the difference anyway.

I think we had that discussion before. Apparently there´s no scientific distinction but "generally Doves are smaller while Pigeons are the larger species. The other key difference is that Pigeons have straighter tails while doves’ are more fanned out".

Hmmmm?

Well in Britain all our pigeons are doves. Ring, Stock and Rock.

But thanks anyway.
